105 Altmore is a spacious and modern self-catering apartment located in the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town. It is in an ideal position for guests wishing to explore Cape Town.

The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open-plan living room. The kitchen is well equipped with all cutlery, crockery and cooking facilities. There is a large dining table with seating for six people and the lounge has ample seating and a TV with DStv. The patio area has outdoor furniture and looks onto the harbour and water canal.

Guests can walk to the world class V & A Waterfront which offers cosmopolitan cross sections of over 30 restaurants catering for all tastes, plus a shopping experience with all the major brands.

    "<span style="line-height: 1.5; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent;">We have always used the services of Safarinow.com for all our booking for VNA waterfront Accommodation. This time too we booked at Altmore 105 from 8th Feb2015 to 11th Feb 2015 to stay during the mining Indaba. For the first time we were sadly disappointed with the standard of upkeep and housekeeping. The apartment is excellently located with top of the range finishes. However the housekeeping services are lamentable. Only One set of access keys are provided so my husband and I had to coordinate so that we were able to access the apartment. We were told there is only one set of keys to the apartment. The linen, cushion covers and carpets are old, tired and faded. The furniture does seem like odds and ends from 2nd hand furniture sales. Used and old.The wifi provided by housekeeping was a joke. The battery of the wifi had no power, so has to be on charge 24x7. The range was limited to 1ft from plug point. Housekeeping said people who had stayed 2 weeks earlier had not complained so they were assuming everything was working fine. We used our data bundles. There is no water connection to the dishwasher, I left the dishwasher loade and switched on at night. Next morning the dishes were still dirty and the water inlet sign showed red. Housekeeping told me the same story that ppl who had stayed earlier had not complained. So they are assuming everything was working fine. This apartment does not have either air-cons or hairdryer. This is not a very pleasant place to stay in.</span><div><br /></div><div></div><div><br /></div>"

    "We stayed at 105 Altmore for 5 nights. It was nicely furnished unit with all the necessities. Spacious and comfortable. The unit is located a mere 5 min from the V&amp;A waterfront and close to all the central CBD locations."

    "The apartment was not up to the standard we would expect paying those prices. For one, they promised the flat had wifi, but for the first 5 days we could only get Internet access via an unsecured public hotspot (paying for data downloads). When we booked, we made quite clear that this was a prerequisite. My husband missed important conference calls and work in general. The managers brought us a mobile modem as a replacement and loaded it with 2Gb which was not a lot of help. This soon ran out and my husband loaded it with 25Gb at a cost of 999 Rand. This was not what we expected. The owners told management no dedicated wifi would be installed although all surrounding apartments had these!! But, we only took the apartment because they clearly stated one was installed. This was a clear misrepresentation. In addition, we could not use the safe for the whole 3 weeks, as it was locked shut when we arrived and the management failed to fix the problem.To top it all, they wanted to bring around clients to view the apartment during our stay. When we said that it was not convenient, they became very threatening. This is in my opinion not the way to run a private business.I could go on and on about all that was wrong with the apartment, but I won't. Our disappointment is by no means a reflection whatsoever on SafariNow and does not diminish our love of Cape Town. We have rented several other accommodations and have been more than happy.105 Altmore is run by a company called Coastal Kaya working through SafariNow."
