Goosebay Canyon
Goose Bay Canyon offers comfortable accommodation on the banks of the Vaal River. The bed and breakfast accommodation is perfect for couples, groups and business travellers with conference facilities available on request.
We offer 19 double bedrooms with balconies overlooking the river and we serve a full English breakfast daily. Guests can enjoy relaxing by river or in the swimming pool. We can host weddings and functions on the large lawn on the banks of the river. There is a cosy pub with a lovely log fireplace and pool tables and we can arrange traditional braais on request.
A large number of activities are available to guests such as boat trips, paintball, river rafting, hiking and games drives.

10 August 2021"The views and proximity to the river are amazing. Sadly that is all that is good. The place is in need of some serious renovations and upgrades. It has so much potential. Furniture is old, no facilities in your room such as bar fridge, tv. Forget about Wifi as well. Service is not great and breakfast was limited and cold. We did not even bother going to breakfast on the last day."

Since there is no restaurant on site for lunch or dinner, maybe there could be pamohlets suggesting restaurants to go to get food or the reception person could have told us on arrival. 10 October 2016"The place is beautiful and cosy. However, their marketing or advert is a lie. The rooms neither have a fridge or a TV. They should inform their guest in time on what to expect.<br/><br/>Anyway, their staff members are friendly and lovely people but I don't think it is a place I will visit again in the near future. Their first impression wasn't that good at all."
