  "We loved the cottage built from stone, the lovely fireplace and peaceful surroundings.Cottage was well stocked with everything one might need.Only complaint is that the smoke from the fireplace drifted up to the beds in the loft area. Lovely place that we would recommend."

  "A real character cottage and a farm steeped in history. Everything about the booking went smoothly with Sheila being most helpful. My grandson loved seeing all the farm animals and we enjoyed our short walk to the picnic gazebo on the banks of the river. It proved to be a perfect break en route back to Johannesburg after my daughter had run the Comrades marathon. Would love to return for a longer stay."

When the booking was made, we indicated that we had a 9month old baby who will accompany us. We were placed in the Jacaranda Cottage,but unfortunately there was no Hot water for bathing the little baby. We wereoffered a bathroom inside the house. While I was busy braaiing, my wife,daughter and grandchild used the bathroom inside the house. When finishingbraaiing, I want to use the bathroom as offered, but the main door was lockedand I was unable to use the bathroom.No one responded when knocking on thedoor. I use the shower in the cottage where only Cold water was available....As a result of this, we could not shower the next morning and returned homewithout a nice shower/bath. I think they must use a "CheckList" before the guests arrive to make sure everything is in workingorder. Like they say in South Africa..   "We had an absolute lovely weekend at Wyford Farm. It was very nice to go for walks in the veld and looking at the animals. Thank you to Sheila for heating up our room prior to our arrival. The cottage is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the prepared fireplace an absolute treat. This is the place to go to really have a break away from the city life and to have a peaceful and quiet time. We look forward to enjoying our farm eggs and Sheila's home-made marmalade back here at home. We look forward to be back at Wyford farm. Thank you."

  "We stayed over at Wynford Farm en route to Durban and were greeted with a charming farm environment that we all fell in love with! My two girls loved the horses in the paddock near our cottage and were asking if they could stay longer! Sheila is so accommodating and this beautiful place was peaceful where you can just be at one with nature! Will definitely go back again!"
