Vanrhynsdorp Caravan Park is a privately owned caravan park in the heart of Namaqualand. The property offers self-catering units, and rooms.
The rooms are all uniquely furnished and vary in size. The rooms and self-catering units have their own kitchenettes and clean linen and towels. Some of our rooms and units do have air-conditioning to keep the heat out and make your stay even more enjoyable. The lounge areas are also equipped with TVs and DStv. There is a braai area in front of each unit.
For those who prefer to stay out of the kitchen, the ZAR Restaurant will cater for your meals. The restaurant is fully licensed.
"Loved that there were enough beds for all of us but were disappointed by the cold water which meant we had to bath in the basin. The furniture outdated. But otherwise nice and informative host."
"Was not impressed. Firstly the fridge was not working resulting in water from our commodities dripping on the floor and no mop to dry floor. The water wasn't hot which meant we showered in cold water. Overpriced."
"The park was virtually a construction camp with workers in overalls, construction vehicles and equipment, and H-U-G-E roadmaking equipment on huge trucks and trailers passing through. No behaviour problems but the setup was not pleasant. Had to move my vehicle three times at request of staff. No help with carrying heavy fridge/freezer to and from our unit. Gate closing/security discontinued for construction workers."
"Clean, tidy, great venue for a caravan park. Ideal place for stay-over to tour the West coast."
