Gannabos Guest Lodge

Gannabos Guest Lodge is situated in the beautiful Gariep Eco Reserve, offering four guest units. This is a 4000 ha eco-tourism venture managed on holistic principles, containing fields of livestock and lucerne irrigation.There is a communal unit for meals and watching TV, set apart from the four guest units. The units have a charming and rustic ambience based on an old Karoo mud-house design, with an emphasis on natural development and minimal interference of vegetation.Our reserve is a majestic sanctuary for Adrica's wildlife, including sable, roan, buffalo, Livingston eland, tsessebe, waterbuck, letchwe, nyala, gemsbuck and all the varieties of springbuck. We also provide game drives and quad bikes. This is open-sky country with the whirr of windmills and the sound of birds singing in the trees. You will see blue skies, graceful plains spreading as far as the eye can see and distant hills.

"Quaint country lodge with old world charm with all the amenities for an enjoyable stay. This lodge has as a backdrop the lovely Karoo landscape with various game species walking in close proximity from the lodge which could be viewed from the comfort of the "stoep". As far as hospitality is concerned, Desmarie and her team certainly made sure that we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay over again."
