Vredelust B&B
Vredelust B&B is a charming retreat in the beautiful village of Villiersdorp, situated near the Theewaterskloof Dam and within walking distance of the town.
Accommodation offered comprises three en-suite Double Rooms and four quaint Self-catering Units. All the rooms have DStv and tea and coffee-making facilities. Safe and secure parking is available within an electronic gate. we have braai/barbecue facilities.
The four Self-catering Units all comprise open-plan double bedrooms with fully equipped kitchenettes. Extra beds are available for a child sharing with parents on request. Breakfast is served on request in our dining room adjoining a sitting room where guests can also relax.
Explore the beautiful countryside surrounds of Elgin and Villiersdorp and the Theewaterskloof Dam is ideal for boating and water sports enthusiasts.

22 November 2014"I booked a last minute midweek break, and am so glad I did! I had a self-catering unit, which was large, extremely comfortable, and had everything you could want for a relaxing and peaceful stay (down to the rusks for the morning and hot chocolate for the nights). The service was also spot-on, and my room was thoroughly cleaned in a flash while I was out for breakfast, ready for me to enjoy it all over again each day. Vredelust is also perfectly located - close to everything, but far enough that you cannot hear the traffic on the main road - and I took a number of stunning pictures of the surrounding mountains and greenery. Highly recommended!"

"Some confusion but very nice stay"
23 December 2013"Since our booking which we did two month prior to travelling the owner changed. Unfortunately we didn't receive an Email with the new contact information. So for the whole afternoon we were trying the reach someone without any luck. We left several voice mails and also tried two mobile phone numbers that were on the mailbox. When we arrived we stood in front of a locked door and didn't know what to do. After some time we had the idea to ask someone in the neighbourhood and were lucky that someone knew how to contact the lady who manages the apartment. Apart from this interesting experience the stay was very wonderful. The lady welcoming us and also the ladies cleaning the next morning were very friendly. The apartment was also very nice and there was a community living room. Fortunately we also got a room with AC, otherwise our night would have been a nightmare with our 5 month old baby. In the evening the old owner also returned our calls and apologized. I would highly recommend to change the contact information.Thank you very much for a pleasant stay after initial hiccups."
