  "Although it is selfcatering,, it would have been nice if there was some milk in the fridge for coffee. Unfortunately it was not even switch on. But on a positive note they went out of their way to prepare us some steak although they were only serving pizza and burgers that night."

  "The overnight chalets are perfect for a short stay. Very clean, and with all the basics of comfort and amenities one needs. Spacious private bathrooms. The bar-restaurant-lounge is wonderful. Relaxed, casual and welcoming, and with beautiful river views across to Namibia. There was a burst water main the next morning, affecting everything, which is the only reason we are rating our overall stay as "3"."

  "Oewerbos has the perfect location, however the property is poorly maintained. The chalets were dark and dingy, with obvious issues that can be easily fixed. There was NO hot water and we had to shower in ice cold water for 2 days. It is an 'okay' place to stay, but we definitely won't be back."

  "Oewebos is a beautiful on the banks of the Orange river. Although comfortable I found the rooms rather dark and some of the showers need attention. Very nice pizzas and friendly staff."

  "Die ontvangs by Oewerbos was uitstekend en ons het sommer baie tuisgevoel. Die troeteldiere het ons ook welkom geheet en het ons dadelik na my viervoetiges laat verlang. Die uitsig en atmosfeer was asemrowend, kan nie dink dat daar n Oase in die dorre gedeelte van die land kan wees nie.Baie dankie nogmaals, so baie graag nog n aand daar wou oor nag, maar tyd wag ongelukkig vir niemand nie, maar miskien volgende keer as ek weer so n toer na Namibi beplan sal ek virseker twee nagte daar will vertoef.Dankie Marius"

  "Our reception was horrific/pathetic - unfriendly.<br/>The campsite and ablution not good. With so much water available and no green grass campsites ? Shocking if you think that people want to make money/a living out of this concern.<br/>I cannot refer anybody to this venue.<br/><br/>ESTABLISHMENTS RESPONSE:<br/><br/>Mr Steenkamp, if you having a bad day dont take it out on other people. You were greeted by Diana and she walked you to your campsite. You parked on the grass and the area under the trees has no grass as it does not grow in the shade. The ablutions are great with hot and cold water and clean. Maybe you should look at 5 star accommodation next time."

  "We enjoyed our stay in a luxury tent on the riverfront. The air conditioning was a great bonus in the heat. We were able to order pizzas from the restaurant to enjoy at our tent and they were extremely tasty!! <br/>We had some problems finding the correct road leading to Oewerbos, but the locals are always ready to assist when you need help."

  "If I could rate this site less than 0 stars I would. After many confirmations and our deposit paid there was a mess up with our booking. After a 12 hour drive, we arrived at Oewerbos and told that someone else took our accommodation.<div><br /></div><div>In stead of enjoying a peaceful supper at sunset overlooking the river we had to deal with the very unprofessional way alternate arrangements were made at another venue.</div><div><br /></div><div>Trying to placate us with a free meal, we then had to go and search for the other venue in the dark. We got a bedroom without a door practically right off the reception area where guests continued to book in and the phone ringing till late that evening.</div>"

  "This was our 2nd stay at Oewerbos, and again it was just too short. The place is a little piece of heaven on the banks of the Orange River, and makes a perfect stopover either before or after you cross the border into Namibia.I love their friendly dogs and the easy going owners, and I rank their home made pizzas as some of the best I have eaten. Until next time..."

  "<p>We really enjoyed our stay, the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation </p><p>was adequate, a little unusual having a kitchen and bathroom all in one!</p><p>The pizzas we had in the evening were great, very pleasant to sit and relax by the river.</p><p>There were a few dogs running around, not problem, except my husband had to clean his shoes after stepping in "doggie do" not very pleasant!</p>"
