Situated in the timeless fishing village of Paternoster, Kommetjie reveals itself amidst the crashing waves and long unspoilt beaches of this historic little bay.
Taking the colourful vibrancy and seaside charm of the local community, this self-catering house is well equipped in a by-the-seaside fashion, complemented with sea views. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms are luxuriously appointed and structure this double-level house. While a living room lounge with comfortable chairs, DStv, a built-in fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen, open onto the outside balcony and deck.
There is an Inverter for backup power in the event of load-shedding powers all appliances and electrical equipment with the exception of the geyser.
A heartfelt story of shipwrecked sailors left stranded gave Paternoster the meaning of its name 'Our Father'. A place where time stands still and the cry of the sea birds decorate the fresh ocean air. It is the ideal place for rest and peace.
Check-in time is strictly as follows:
- 14h00 17h00 (Mon to Thu)
- 14h00 19h00 (Fri)
- 14h00 16h00 (Sat and Sun)
- 14h00 16h00 (public holidays)
High Season (incl Easter & Jazz festival): check-in is strictly at 15h00, unless otherwise arranged with the office.
A surcharge of R200 per hour or part thereof will be charged for any arrival later than check-in time as indicated above. This surcharge is deductible from the Key & Breakage deposit. The guest consents to this deduction.
