5 Third Avenue Guest House
5 Third Avenue Guesthouse, located in the garden suburb of Walmer, is the closest of any form of accommodation to Port Elizabeth Airport. We offer clean and comfortable self-catering accommodation in eight private rooms each with own kitchenette and shower en-suite.
The accommodation is set back from the road, which makes for a quiet oasis close to major amenities. Six of our rooms look out over the pool and braai barbecue lapa area and a Family Unit is available. Secure off street parking. Our rooms are serviced daily except on Sundays and Public Holidays. Our establishment offers Wi-Fi, which is available in designated areas. Internet is available in reception. Selected DStv channels in rooms.
Airport transfers only between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. If you need breakfast, i need to know one day prior to arrival. The price for breakfast is not included in my rate it will be an additional R60 per person.
Please note we do have house rules. A copy can be emailed to you on request.
Please note if you are checking in later then 21h00 prior arrangements must be made. Rate differs in December and January holiday period. Member of NMBT/Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism and NAA National Accommodation Association.

23 January 2010"We arrived at the 5 Third Avenue Guest House late in the evening (~21:30) after a flight from Johannesburg and left early in the morning (~8:00). The guest house location was great for us since it was close to airport (5 min) and we still didn't hear any airplanes noise. The room was clean and tidy with bathroom inside. The owners were really nice and even drove us to the airport by their car in the morning without extra payment. "
