"Despite our reservation having not been advised by Orion Group Head Office, the staff were very friendly and polite. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Service in the evening on the terrace was quite slow, but food good in the end. A pleasant stay overall."

"The hotel has the potential to provide a great atmosphere by nature of it's past, however we experienced a very 'dead' hotel in atmosphere and attitudes and an untidy hotel in the public areas. Did not enjoy our stay there, which is a pity as it could have been so different."
