  "Stayed in the garden appartment.Very friendly welcome, even coffee and rusks provided, thanks Karin.Aproaching the apartment you are struck by the beautiful plants along the path.The clean fresh smell inside, everything extremely clean and neat.High end quality linen and kitchen equipment,lovely full bathroom.Private braai area. Everything provided for comfortable S/C.Peacefull and private.<br/>Although not beachfront,less than 2 min. from town center.Apreciate the call from owner upon departure to Wish us well on our onward travel.Thanks Dirk, will definitely be back to stay!"

  "<p>Istayed inthe self catering flatat Beautiful Abalone.</p><p>The location of the unit is central and easy to find.</p><p>The host, Karin, was very friendly and came to meet me on my arrival. She was also easy to reachwhen I needed to contact her.</p><p>Unfortunately, I willnot stay here again because of the following reasons:</p><p>Although advertised as non-smoking, the place reeked of a smoke smell. Especially the bathroom! On arriving "home" in the evening it was particularly awful.It is as if the smoke had penetrated eveything in the flat.</p><p>In addition, the bedroom and kitchen cupboards smelt like mould. I didn't even hang my clothes in the cupboards as the smell was too strong. Karin did apologise for the kitchen cupboard upfront however the bedroom wasthe worst.</p><p>The bathroom and kitchen stainless steel accessories are rusted quite badly. It is gory to use. I am sure it can't be too expensive to replace.</p><p>Even thoughit is a self catering unit, it would be nice to have at least just enough coffee, tea, milk,sugar for at least one cuppa on arrival. There was absolutely nothing at all in the unit. Most other self catering places at least provide a bare basic for guests.</p><p>Lastly - it is very dark on arrival at the gate (which is manual opened) and for someone on their own is quite uncomfortable to get out in the dark to open the gate.A sensor light would be quite helpful and assuring.<br></br><br></br></p><p></p><p> </p><p ></br></p>"

  "Lovely house with all amenities. Great location to shops, cliff paths and harbour. Nice enclosed garden, great if you take pets. Fully equipped kitchen, lovely bathrooms and bedrooms, leading to garden. Lovely enclosed braai area"

  "We had a fantastic stay at Beautiful Abalone. Our host was lovely - friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is beautiful. I would definitely recommend Beautiful Ablone to my family, friends and co-workers. The location is close to Hermanus town centre and all of the activities you would like to do on your holiday.   "We stayed for 6 nights at Beautiful Abalone now in November. We fell in love with Hermanus.<div>Elizabeth, very chatty and friendly welcome us the Saturday. The place was very clean and linen white and clean with nice big towels.</div><div>The following was dissapointing:</div><div>1. the hand soap in bathroom was almost empty with no other soap supplied.</div><div>2. There was no sunlight liquid or sponges to wash dishes</div><div>3. Nothing to wipe the surface with.</div><div>4. There was 1 red and 1 white wine glass, we need to ask for the same size glass, we asked for another red wine glass but was given another 2 white wine glasses.</div><div>5. The knifes are extremely blunt</div><div>6. we enquire about cleaning services since we book for 6 nights, but no cleaning services.</div><div>7. The bin in kitchen is bit small so by the 2nd day Elizabeth put a big black bin outside that we can use it, but we didn't receive more plastic bags.</div><div>8. the matrass is nog good quality by night 3, me and my husband both woke up with sore backs.</div><div>The positive- thank you for the nice big screen tv with all the dstv channels. Very nice and clean and neat. It is really 2 minutes walk from the sea with beautiful views of Hermanus and the coastal line.</div><div>I would not recommend the place to my friends and family. But we enjoyed our stay. If we come visit Hermanus we would choose a place with a sea view.</div><div>Thank you for your friendliness.</div>"

  "We recently stayed over at Beautiful Abalone. The Main house has 3 bedrooms and a beautiful loft. Clean crisp white linen and towels. Really a home a way from home. They have all the modern amenities and a great location near the cliff paths and walking distance to the village. Our hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They recommended great restaurants. The loft room is very spacious. The house and flat have a fully equipped kitchen making it great for self-catering. We gladly recommend Beautiful Abalone for anyone requiring upmarket value for money establishment. They have 4 stars and every little detail is being taken care of. Thank you"
