Palmiet River Lodge

Palmiet River Lodge is tucked away in a quiet, safe cul-de-sac that overlooks the beautiful Palmiet River in the heart of the Westville Conservancy. An impenetrable cliff forms a breathtaking natural boundary where wildlife and birds abound, with 128 bird species having been recorded.

The City Centre, soccer and rugby stadiums and beaches are less than 20 minutes' drive from the lodge and there are excellent shopping centres close by, including the Pavilion. The lodge is also in close proximity to Virgin Active gym, good restaurants and the Westville Hospital, as well as the route of the famous Comrades Marathon, with Westridge Tennis Stadium and Durban Westville University both within easy driving distance.

Palmiet River Lodge is very spacious and consists of four double bedrooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom and white percale linen on the beds. All rooms are air-conditioned and are serviced daily. Features at the lodge include a spacious lounge, a swimming pool and a gazebo overlooking the river and cliffs. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and barbecue facilities are also available.
