Arendsnes is a fully furnished flat with lovely sea views in The Wilderness Nature Reserve. It is situated in Wilderness and lies on the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains in a region of unparalleled beauty. Wilderness has many beautiful beaches and numerous vantage points from which to watch the whales and dolphins.
The fully furnished and equipped private two-bedroom apartment with parking is on the owner's premises. It has a luxurious open plan lounge, living room, dining room, kitchen and braai area. The veranda offers a beautiful view of the garden and sea, and sometimes the Knysna Loeries and Bushbucks make their appearance. It sleeps 4 people. The main bedroom has a double bed with a private bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 single beds with a bathroom. An extra sofa bed provides for 2 children. The apartment offers a fridge-freezer, stove, microwave and a built-in braai area and laundry facilities. There is also a large screen TV in the living room with Showmax and YouTube . Wi-Fi is provided on request.
Wilderness lies 15 km east of George, between the Kaaimans River in the West and the Goukamma Nature Reserve in the east. It is bordered by the Indian Ocean in the south and is renowned for its vast stretches of beach, peace and tranquility, and the absence of windswept headlands and wild, stormy seas.
Recreational activities in Wilderness include hiking, mountain biking, bird and whale-watching, hang-gliding/ paragliding, horse riding, scenic drives, day tours, angling, boating and other water sports activities.

"Misleading advert for a badly maintained house"
24 April 2016"We had a disappointing experience in Arendsnes. It's clearly not well maintained or looked after - there is a persistent stale smell in the house and regardless of what lights are on, it is dark and dingy. A number items were not working such as the patio door, leaking shower door, gas heater (which the landlord didn't know how to operate!)' missing light bulbs, faulty washing machine (which the landlord also didn't know how to operate!) and dryer. The place is advertised as having 'lovely sea views' - one of the pictures is from a balcony you don't have access to and the other was taken before plants had grown and all but completely obscured the view. The pictures make it look like there is plenty of light in the house - these give a false impression as well.<div>The only positive was the fact that it's in Wilderness.<br /><div><br /></div></div>"

20 February 2016"We had a very enjoyable stay at Arendsnes in a beautiful, relaxing garden setting. Very spacious, with all amenities and a very gracious host. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended and will stay there again next year."
