  "Ke Nako is a hidden gem, we had a lovely time and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. in the morning we were woken up by the cry of the fish eagle and at night the stars shine bright against the dark sky.The host are truly welcoming and the lodge is warm, clean and well taken care off. We will definitely go back to Ke Nako in the near future."

  "When we arrived at Ke Nako we were very impressed with how clean and tidy they cabin is. I heard the neighbours dogs and was a bit scared that they would keep us awake, but they did not and we slept like rocks!<br/><br/>We also took a hike up the road for about 2.5km and then back again between the most beautiful trees, grass fields, cows etc - it was amazing!<br/><br/>Thank you :)"

  "From the secluded location, the stunning views and the warm, inviting interior, this lodge is one of the best we've stayed in. Just from a functional point of view, it had everything we could've asked for: a kitted-out kitchen for DIY meals, strong shower, comfy bed, large lounge area to lap up in the afternoon sun, and a quaint balcony for basking in it (bonus points for a cupboard stocked with extra blankets and a bookshelf stacked with good reads). Our stay felt like a true retreat, all we could've asked for.<div><br /></div><div>Will definitely be staying here again.</div>"

  "We stayed in the annex and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is very well equipped and there are nice touches such as fresh flowers and a solar light on the balcony. The location is stunning, enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the birds drinking from the feeder and the peace and tranquility. The only downside is probably the gravel access road but that's a necessity to get to the wonderful location on the vlei, Highly recommended."

It has a beautiful view, and a deck with a table and chairs to sit out and watch the sunset or do some bird watching. A very peaceful and relaxing stay!"

  "We stayed at Ke Nako for 7 nights and used both lodges as one unit for 4 adults and 2 children. These was more than enough space for us all. The lodge has a great view over Langvlei and the sunsets are spectacular. We enjoyed the fact that we could get everywhere we wanted to be with ease but could escape back to the peace and quiet of the lodge. The lodge is one of the best equipped lodges I have been to- we normal travel with extra utensils and items which were not needed for this trip.Definitely worth a visit and we will look at the lodge again if we are in the area."

I felt the owners took pride in making the unit as comfortable as possible. Wi-Fi and DSTV worked well. Loved looking at the blooming proteas from the kitchen window!"

  "Ke Nako was the perfect venue in so many ways. It's secluded, yet it only takes a 20 minte drive to get to Knysna. The lodges are so peaceful and the host are so welcoming and kind. We truly enjoyed our stay at these beautiful (and super clean) lodges and I would return in a heart beat."
