This delightful country house is situated at the edge of the magnificent indigenous forest, in the heart of the Wilderness national Park

The Kingfisher is the ideal base from which to hike. Explore the exciting and breathtakingly beautiful rivers, lakes and beaches. Come and experience the many moods of Wilderness.

A stay of about 3 - 5 days (if possible) is recommended. We specialize in helping our guests to discover and enjoy the beauty of our little piece of paradise.

We serve a delicious country breakfast (including freshly baked scones and muffins) on the wide covered verandah. Or simply relax after an exciting day and watch the prolific bird life whilst sipping a well-earned sundowner.

"Very relaxing, a home from home wonderful breakfasts and back from the main road so the traffic noise doesn't disturb you. The added bonus of the wild birds feeding when you also have breakfast next to you is a real treat."
