Rika's Bed and Breakfast

Rika's Bed and Breakfast is located in the centre of town, just off the main street. We offer five comfortable bedrooms in the peaceful surroundings of the Karoo town of Willowmore. Situated on the N9, Rika's Bed and Breakfast is en route to George, Mossel Bay and Wilderness.

After a good night's rest, start your day with a lovely Karoo breakfast prepared by Rika herself. Features include an indoor barbecue for rainy days, as well as a lapa with barbecue facilities in the garden.

The village offers freedom from the restrictions of time and is far enough off the beaten track for countryside relaxation. The wilderness that lies between Willowmore and Patensie is a series of vast wild kloofs that make up the well-known Baviaanskloof, a beautiful wilderness with various hiking options and a fantastic drive.

The star-filled nights are unpredictably cold, while day temperatures can soar over 30 degrees. Willowmore is only 85 km from Plettenberg Bay and 94 km from Knysna, placing it in an enviable position for day trips to both holiday destinations, yet far enough to escape the hustle and bustle.

"On arrival, met Rika -friendly enough. The accommodation (house) was reasonable The room allocated was spacious and comfortable. During the night we were attacked by mosquitoes and although there was a "Doom fogger" supplied, the fragrance of this product is not suited to everyone Due to Rika oversleeping on the morning of departure we were unable to have breakfast although she did telephonically contact us to apologise One thing that really perturbed us was the number of pet dogs Rika has and that they are allowed to freely roam around in the kitchen where food is prepared."
