Kaijaiki Country Inn

Less than one kilometre from the beach, Kaijaiki Country Inn in Yzerfontein offers accommodation with a fireplace. The West Coast National Park is 19 kilometre away. Free WiFi is available.

Furnished with parquet flooring and wooden beams, each room offers a fireplace, a flat-screen TV with basic channels and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower.

Breakfast is served daily and the on-site coffee shop Koffie en jy serves light lunches. Packed breakfasts can be arranged.

Darling is located about 24 kilometres from Kaijaiki Country Inn and Cape Town International Airport is about one hour away by car. The property offers free parking.

Take a walk on the 16-mile beach at Yzerfontein; rent a canoe or kayak from Yzerfontein Sea Sport; go on a horseback safari; visit the game farm at Buffelsfontein; see a show at Evita's Perron in Darling; do a chocolate and wine pairing at Ormonde Wine Estate or taste local wines at Blake's Family Wine and Darling Cellars. Visit Yzer Bru, our busy little brewery just next door to Kaijaiki Country Inn and make sure you do not miss Darling Olive Farm on your way to Darling Sweets where you can buy some toffee souvenirs. Make sure to visit Postberg (a completely undisturbed floral landscape in the West Coast National Park) during August and September and go for a picnic/braai afterwards at Tsaarsbank. You might just be lucky enough to spot some whales!

Breakfast will be served from 8:00am to 10:00am. Packed breakfasts can also be arranged for an additional fee.

Our restaurant is temporarily closed for renovations until January 2023. Our coffee shop "Koffie en Jy" is, however, open and serves light lunches.
