  "Mountain view met all our requirements as we were there for the weekend (wedding the Saturday on a farm) We had a lovely braai at the braai area, they assisted in getting us all we needed,the guys could watch the rugby and kids play pool. All the rooms had what we needed. One can see it is an older place, but well kept clean and tidy. Can recommend Mountain view for your overnight stop! Oh and a beautiful view on Aasvoelkop!"

  "Lovely clean and comfortable room. Hosts were very friendly and the children loved the big open spaces and playground. Wish we had more time to explore the hiking routes. A double bed instead of two single beds would be great in a family room."

  "A wonderful discovery: a great place to stay, with a warm welcome from hosts Elzabe and Chris, a stunning view of the mountains, and comfortable and spacious accommodation. It's also great value. And the local (and only) restaurant in town, Nel's, is superb. Very highly recommended."

  "We loved our quick stay at Mountain View. The beds were comfortable (the electric blanket was a bonus) and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a lovely braai outside and enjoyed spotting a few vultures in the distance. We would definitely recommend Mountain View and will be back!"

  "A group of 8 old men stayed at Mountain View from 2-4 May. Rooms were comfortable and we managed with the self-catering facilities - a bit challenging cooking for 8 on a two plate stove with oven and small microwave but we won!! Our hosts were friendly and helpful and the rest of the staff made sure our rooms were cleaned and beds made every day together with the mountains of washing up. I recommend it if travelling in this area."

The name of the guesthouse is also not misleading - we had stunning views of the Mountain!</div><div><br /></div><div>We were a group of 6 travelling together for a wedding in the area and the great accommodation and service made the occasion even more memorable.</div><div><br /></div><div>Thank you!</div>"

  "We stayed at Mountain View Guesthouse in a self catering unit, for one night. It was very basic but comfortable for a quick stopover. There were 4 single beds, and 1 bathroom, perfect for a group of friends. The rates are reasonable for what you get, and had everything we needed. The view of the mountain is incredible and you can take a walk through the forest nearby. We even had a light dusting of snow the next morning, beautiful spot!"
