Cecelia's Holiday Manor

Cecelia's Holiday Manor is a warm and inviting three-bedroom beachfront cottage, situated in Zinkwazi Beach which is on the north coast of Durban. The town is situated on a hill of the Dolphin Coast, overlooking the spectacular Indian Ocean. The drive to Zinkwazi Beach is scenic, filled with rolling hills and homesteads.

The cottage has a beautiful forest-like garden which is home to the most exquisite bird life including the grand old fish eagle. The most spectacular part of the garden is the elevated sun deck which is nestled amongst the imposing milkwood trees. The sun deck overlooks the ocean giving guests a breathtaking panoramic view of the seascape. A footpath trails from the edge of the garden onto the beach.
Golfing requires a special mention as there are four magnificent courses in the surrounding areas.

Ideal for families and groups travelling, child friendly accommodation. Pets are welcome on request.

The town has one entrance and exit, which is monitored by security (boom controlled). Visible security will be found in the streets and on our beachfront.

Enjoy a day at the lagoon and ski boat club. For any other places of interest we will be happy to help you with other things to do in the area from markets, reptile parks and petting zoos for the tiny tots. Looking forward to hearing from you.

  • "Peace & Tranquillity - a great place to spend some lazy days"

    09 October 2018

"Beautiful gardens, location quiet and peaceful, even with the monkeys that love to jump down on the roof at 06:00 in the morning! Very attentive staff there to make your stay more leisurely and do the thinks that you don't want to do on holiday - my husband got away without doing the washing up! The decking overlooking the beach was ideally situated, though would benefit from having some of the overhanging tree branches cut back so that you could get a wider view of the beach. Some of the patio slabs need to be re bedded as they are cracked and sinking - could be dangerous for more elderly visitors.Loads of space so suitable for couples or families. Linen & towels spotlessly clean. Hose kept very clean during our stay. There were a few minor household repairs/maintenance activities that were needed - loose handles, loose hinges on cupboards, sink taps in bathrooms did not fully turn off. None of this would stop us returning."

    31 March 2013

"Thanks Cecelia, Bongi, Doris and Pablo, for making this an unforgettable vacation. The dinners were so tasty, the kids loved the staff and played for hours in an child friendly environment. The house and grounds are imaculate, the beds are to dream of. Indoors and outdoors extremely tasteful. Cecelia, you certainly have an eye for opportunity, good taste and good sense to make your dreams come true. Well done! Hester, Willem, Vonnie and Jana Badenhorst."
