Sugar Bay Holiday Resort

Sugar Bay Holiday Resort is an American-style summer group camp for children of ages 7 to 17 years. It is situated in the beautiful village of Zinkwazi in KwaZulu-Natal and is within walking distance of the lagoon and beach.

The camp offers children free choice of over 100 instructional activities that encourage them to meet their full potential. The free choice system means that children are able to plan their own schedules, and there is something to suit everyones varying tastes. The 3 to 1 child-to-staff ratio and 24-hour supervision guarantees that children are kept extra safe while having fun. The cabin counsellors are specifically trained and experienced in the growth and developmental needs of the different age groups, and are positive role models who provide friendship and security. Our co-ed program is small enough to get cosy and friendly with everyone, yet large enough to have age-specific games and activities.

Bunk beds are provided in stilted log cabins which all have their own bathroom and showers with hot water. There is a dining hall where all meals of the day are served, as well as a tuck shop where snacks can be bought. A heated swimming pool is the site of some of the camp activities, as well as the field, paintball course and Sugar Bay waterfront.

Set in 16-acres of rolling hills of sugar cane with private access to Zinkwazi lagoon and waterfront, infinite beaches and great weather all year round, this group camp is the perfect destination for any child's holiday.
