"I was supposed to be staying at the Backpackers District Six but I ended up staying at the Kimberly Hotel because it was late and I got lost on my way to the place. The hostess, Leandre, is a very generous person who gets out of her way to make you feel welcome. She new I was tired driving from JHB so she invited me to stay at her other establishment as I was closer to that when I called her for directions. She has a nice place and the breakfast is great. If I am ever in Cape Town again, I will certainly be staying at the Kimberly hotel or her other establishment Backpackers District Six ."
"The beds looked as if it was not made up ... Honestly it was just a one night stay and the guests felt that it was not a good room and ended up sleeping in their cars it was a one night no stay a waste of my money 1500 that I lost"
"Seems more like a very old hotel. No reception, everything is managed from the old smoky bar downstairs. No communal kitchen, no lounge, no real place to meet people. Shouldn't be called a backpackers."
"We had a lot of fun here. It was not bad at all and the view is awesome from the room we stayed in. The staff were awesome and really helpful. I would surely recommend it for those travelling on a budget. Go for it, for real."
"I enjoyed my stay at the Kimberley Hotel, I loved it! Was a great experience, the staff was great there and its convenient as there’s shops close by."
