  "A bit off the beaten track but the view and the stillness of the area make up for it.Very spacious simple accommodation, our host were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our overnight stay and left refreshed the next morning to resume our trip."

  "The beds were so comfortable we slept till 9am!There were rusks and chocolates on our pillows with tea and coffee and best of all it was pet friendly so we were able to introduce our dogs to the beach for the first time!"

  "<div>The Guest House is located on a farm, just outside of Colesberg (very close to the highway) away from the busy highway. The rooms are spacious and the accommodation provides a peaceful and relaxing rest before continuing with ones journey.</div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks for the pleasant stay Riana, we will definitely stay with you again.</div>"

  "Stunning view, tranquil and relaxing. Dinner was delicious - egte boerekos met pampoen fritters. Yummy! Clean and neat bedrooms and living room, comfortable beds and quaint decor all around. Lovely seeing historical trinkets and antique decor. Being informed about sharing a bathroom between rooms would of been appreciated. Private bathroom is preferable. One felt that the bathroom facilities were not as clean and modernized as they could of been. Bathroom soaps could of been provided and/or filled up. Welcomed with warmth and friendliness by the hosts. Priced well for facilities provided. We will return on our next journey through Colesburg. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

  "Thanks to a special team , Riana and Piet,Venter, Palmietfontein Guest House rates up there with the best you'll find. Wonderful setting, great hospitality, excellent views, including star gazing and spacious interior coupled with crisp and clean bedding linen and towels. I.e. the whole nine yards.<div>Only ONE problem though, a<strong> Safarinow</strong> issue: <strong>Safarinowneglected</strong> to update the website for Palmietfontein. The telephone number, as published, has been out of operation for some years already! This could have resulted in us driving away from a locked gate off the "Steynsburg road". Come now Safarinow, save clients and guest house owners future embarrassment and update information on websites? </div>"

  "Friendly and welcoming service but unfortunately there were a few complaints. The beds were very uncomfortable, linen was not up to scratch. There was a communal bath/ shower/ toilet for 9 people. No form of DSTV or internet and finally there was a dogs excrement found in the corner of the room. I sadly would not recommend Palmietfontein Guest house to anyone."

  "We had a lovely stay, were friendly welcomed after a long drive and the new route directions is a must. The house is easily accessible from the N9, the Noupoort road. The rooms are super clean and neat. will return for sure."

  "Welcome was well organised. Rooms and immediate vicinity of farmhouse make one feel welcome and at home. The stay was pleasant. However the "Karoo bossies" between the two tracts of the farm road were not that friendly to the underside of my Corolla. Please use only the entrance via N9."
