  • "Lovely location, great accomodation"

"Great location for larger families. Great beach, which is super private. Amazing few days at the location - very comfortable."

  • "Great place. Comfortable beach house. Wonderful holiday."

    27 September 2021

"We loved the open plan kitchen and living area, bathrooms modern and clean, beds were comfortable. The beach is stunning and only a short walk away. Complex and surrounds is kept very neat and tidy. The only improvement we can suggest is to trim the bush in front of the house so one can enjoy a sea view."

  • "Unspoiled quietness right on a very private beach."

    23 January 2018

"We stayed at number 5 and it was a really comfortable stay. The place needs a bit of TLC, but from what I heard, it is going through a revamp soon. The roof was leaking and needs to be re-thatched. But, the beds were comfortable and the showers hot. The kitchen was well equipped and serviced daily. Right on the beach with no vagrants passing through. We left all our fishing equipment outside during the night as it is very safe there."

  • "We loved our vacation"

    19 April 2011

"The house was lovely and we enjoyed the swimming pool very much. The beach and the daily walks that we undertook were the best."

  • "Paradise found"

    21 December 2010

"The resort is a gem to behold. The units are rustic but spacious. The private beach is never busy and the kids were safe and had a great time swimming, climbing sand dunes and riding horses. The resort is ideal if you want tranquility and to feel close to nature. The road does require a 4x4 especially after heavy rain. There is little local entertainment except for the friendly Ninky Noo pub and the Haga Haga hotel. This is a wonderful place to relax, read a book and go for long walks. It is not luxury living but quality of life at its best. Buy all your food etc. before you arrive."

  • "Most enjoyable holiday"

    27 July 2007

"Spacious wonderfully designed and well-equipped self-catering units with amazing sights on the coastline. We lacked the time to visit the adjacent nature reserve.Walks along the coastline to the village of Haga Haga and beyond took most of our time. Most enjoyable holiday guaranteed. One advice: if you book a self-catering unit, make sure to buy enough groceries in advance, for there is not really much to buy in Haga Haga itself. "

  • ""Haba Haba", Haga Haga! "

    29 January 2007

"This was the most enjoyable rest in quite some time! The drive from East London Airport was quick and easy. Haga Haga game & nature reserve is a peaceful, quiet and secluded haven. We spent hours on the rocks recharging our batteries and hiking on some part of the Wild Coast hiking trail. Thanks for a wonderful, complete break in the palm of God's hand!"

  • "Outstanding"

    10 May 2006

"We have just returned from our stay at Haga Haga. It was outstanding. The accomodation is spacious and well maintained. The gardens etc; are also very well maintained. The wider environment is superb. Great fishing, mussel picking, fantastic walks, beautiful beaches and the game park is great. It is very safe, being on a private beach, surrounded by game fence, behind. We never locked our house, and left our possessions on the beach, when we wanted to walk. It is truly relaxing and unwinding, but with plenty to do. The booking was simple, and well followed up by Haga Haga themselves. They were attentive while we were there, while still respecting our privacy. We would highly recommend this destination."

  • "Place of Peace"

    17 April 2006

"We had the most exceptional 11 days at Haga Haga Game and Nature Reserve. The accommodation was fantastic and spacious, the surrounds are beautifully maintained, and the wider environment fantastic. Despite the odd rainy day, there was always plenty to do, fishing, game viewing, wonderful secluded walks and beaches, rock pool investigations, mussel picking etc; etc; I would highly recommend this destination for anyone wanting to unwind in a peaceful environment, with plenty to do."
