Situated 1.5 km from the N3, the guest house is set in a beautiful country environment where guests are invited to relax in a quiet landscaped bird and Japanese garden.

For the weary traveller this bed and breakfast offers good value with a high standard of quality and security. Your host Nicky lives in the garden cottage, connected by intercom keeping the personal touch. After a long day's journey or outing, rejuvenate, relax and experience the effects of a massage in our private Superior Spa Jacuzzi or sunbathing nearby on our secluded private lawn.

English breakfasts, or alternatives by prior request, are served in the outdoor gazebo. Dining and barbecue facilities are also available and we offer a courtesy fridge with soft drinks and more. There are many restaurants in the area, as well as several shopping centres, a bottle store and ATM, post office, butcher, take away, and hair dresser.

"We really enjoyed our short stay at the Sunbird Guest Lodge in Howick. The room was very comfortable & spacious. Vehicle parking was secure which is important in these times of increased criminal activity. The gardens are lovely, with lots of bird life to be seen. Their breakfast Gazebo was very quaint and the selection of breakfast foods enormous. Proviso was made for additional facilities i.e.; mosquito mats, fans, extra blankets etc. Our hosts made us feel most welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them at all. They were even able to recommend a few establishments to choose from for dinner. "
