  "New coffee machine, and tea towel in room to dry dishes. The basin in the bathroom is somewhat awkward as it holds little to no water, yes it is beautiful and funky but not practical."

  "We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Kulanga Cottages. :-) Double room we were allocated in were nice and big with all the necessary luxuries to make our one night stay worth while.Breakfast was excellent, all staff we encountered extremely friendly and helpful!"

Banda made me feel right at home and breakfast was a real treat. The tranquility and beauty of the garden was appreciated.</div><div>I can recommend Kulunga to anyone travelling to JHB.   "Stayed at B&B Kulanga Cottages July 2008 for 6 nights. Nice, clean place build and decorated in African style with magic touch. Personal friendly. Cottage equipped with TV, Microwave, Fridge, ... including shoe polish. Will stay again."

  "This B&B was an excellent place for our family to stay at after the long journey from the U.s.It was about a 30 minute taxi ride from the airport (that Errol at Kalunga organized for us). Kalunga was in a pleasant, safe part of town.The cottages were very "African", but at same time comfortable and clean.We loved the garden, complete with a weaverbird making its nest!The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was fine.I would definitely return if I will have the opportunity to return,"

  "I had a great stay in Kulanga. The room was very beautiful and clean in African style. It is a B&B with a fantastic breakfast, but with a fridge and a microwave in the room is also easy to prepare a small meal for the evenings. The owner Errol was very helpful and the staff, specially Nomsa, was very friendly. The area is safe and quiet. There is a small supermarket around the corner and it is safe to walk there for your shopping. "

  "We spent the last 3 nights of our stay in South Africa at the Kulanga Cottages. We had the family room, and the African ambiance of the room was unique! The room is spacious, and also the bathroom. Everything was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast is great, also the location of the Cottages. We would definitely go there again."

  "Staying at Kulanga Cottages was a feast for the eyes and a welcome cool, quiet spot after the dust, smoke and confusion of the city.Our cottage was absolutely beautiful and comfortable.The garden was a lovely place to sit in the morning sun.Nancy and the staff were friendly and welcoming.We decided to make Kulanga Cottages our base and extended our stay for when we returned from trips away to the Drakensburg mountains and a game reserve.After each shorter trip, it felt like we were coming home.We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.The value for the money was high and the beauty beyond expectation."
