Monate Rest Camp
Trees, mountains, tranquility and birds complete the picture at Monate Rest Camp, an exclusive and well-maintained resort situated on a farm in the heart of the bushveld, in the Nyl Valley.
Our excellent and clean, self-catering chalets consist of two-, four- six- and 10 sleeper units, all comprising a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, TV, fridge, stove, microwave, fans, and braai facilities. Breakfast and dinner are also available on request.
Monate Rest Camp is a short drive outside of Mokopane, on the Mokhophong road, and provides under cover parking, with electronically controlled access and electric fencing, making Monate a safe and worry-free resort.

"Terreble stay"
27 July 2019"The house was not clean, the linen was dirty, we had things bitting us at night on the bed, one scratched all night. We arrived at 19:00 yet our room was not made , the house had previous guests bath towels and stuff. The landlord welcomed us smoking cigarette in his hands. I will never recommend this place to anyone"

07 January 2014"What we saw on the web when we did the booking and what we got when we arrived there was total in another class and not upper class. The staff was not ready for us, they had to get the rooms ready while we were already booked in. We were not even been supplied with any coffee or tea etc which we are used to get when making use of B&B facilities. To be honest with you we will never make a booking at your place or recommend the rest camp to anybody. Our rating is 1 out of 10 for your rest camp. I can actually write a whole page of negativities on our experience at your rest camp which was only for one night."

31 December 2012"We initially wanted to stay for one night, but ended up staying for 2 nights as we were impressed by the tranquility and serenity of the place, above all else. The swimming pool was in superb condition. We are a family of 5 , 2 teenagers, a baby , wifey and I."

17 December 2012"I guess the place is a nice one and good quite place and nice rooms. The only problem is that the information map is misleading and misguiding which is dishonest on your part. Secondly the contact person is never on place and was not helpful at all, made to feel one is a problem for asking for own moneys worth. Thank but no thanks, not monate but sour."
