"Very nice stop over when visiting Kruger National Park. Nice attention to decor."

  • "If it is the quiet bush you need, this is the place to stay"

    22 February 2018

"Very nice and quiet place. Although you are in the bush, the town is just a stone throw away should you need something from the shops. Easy 15 min drive to the Phalaborwa gate."

  • "Very cool place"

"Thanks for a great stay. You guys are great."

  • "the dirtiest place ever (pleas do not be deceived by the internet picture"

    15 December 2014

"The lodge itself is allocated in a good place and it's unique. The structure is good but the place is dirty. The bathroom is yellow (but originally white), the toilet is dirty (yellowish), the room floor is very dirty especially in the bathroom and they are cockroaches. I booked for 2 days online but I had to cancel one night. I couldn't even bath or eat breakfast that I paid for because no one who cares about the hygiene can eat in those dirty conditions. It was the worst day of my life to sleep there and I pray I don't sleep in the place like that ever again."

  • "Tranquility at its best!"

    21 January 2013

"I just spent the past weekend there and had one of my best times. The set up of the lodge is unconventional with a communal way of living. And that is what makes it unique. The architecture of the lodge is beautiful and the scenery is tranquil. Craig and Ali are the hosts and the warmest people I have met. They add on the extra touch of the experience and go all out to make their guests feel like a part of the family. I have no doubt that I will go back, sometime in the near future."

  • "The best bush experience"

    05 January 2013

"Wow! We had the most wonderful bush experience. Will be returning soon. Craig and Ali took such good care of us. This is the place to go and rest your soul. All the luxury you need surrounded by the bush and animals. PS a bush braai on a night drive is a must!"
