The feeling here at the Richtersveld Experience Lodge is distinctly Mediterranean. We are situated in the WestCoast town of Port Nolloth, in the heart of Namaqualand, a quiet town where going nowhere slowly is a daily practice. For the yearly floral enthusiasts, our town is also the perfect base from which to plan your routes and to relax between trips into the Richtersveld.

There's something for everyone at Richtersveld Experience Lodge. We offer five spacious fully equipped self-catering units, all at very affordable prices that are ideal for a quick getaway. Our units range from a small, open-plan unit offering at least two single beds, a kitchenette and bathroom, to a spacious apartment-style unit with a big bedroom with a double bed and a single bed plus three single beds as part of the lounge, a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with both a bath and shower. All units have a fan and daily services of all units available on request for an additional fee. We also offer Dstv Easyview channels in the units. An open courtyard enables you to park directly in front of your unit.

Port Nolloth Spar stocks everything a lazy holidaymaker needs, all less than 2 km from where you'll be staying, while our local pharmacy offers a variety of gifts and medical supplies. Come and enjoy one of the most peaceful places on earth, and make your next holiday one to remember.

"The hostess was very friendly. Rooms were clean on arrival but not serviced daily. Travelling with children, its quite difficult to keep noise levels down at all times especially during the day. Overall Richtersveld Experience Lodge is a lovely venue , walking distance to the town and about 5min drive to the beach(McDougllasbay). Port Nolloth itself does not have much activity going on, not worth spending 7 nights. We had to cut our stay short after 4 nights. Would recommend a 3 night stay at most."

"Well the title says it all. Consider it a accommodation on an industrial site with barely a place to enjoy the African Sky so we escaped to a beach restaurant till sleeping time. The sleep itself was comfortable."

"Spacious room which was clean and neat and had all the utensils necessary. Budget accomodation and comfy beds.<br/>Just a worry that there are no gates and anyone can come in - we had a knock on the door from an 'outsider' which should not happen.<br/>All in all a pleasant overnight stopover. Friendly hostess."

"It says "Affordable Accommodation" on the sign and that is true compared to ALL the rest in Port Nolloth. But it does not end there. I doubt you would find any better or cleaner accommodation at double the price. We had an apartment for two people. It was like a one bedroom house. A huge lounge, large double bedroom, large bathroom and a full kitchen with everything you could possibly need. And as I said everything spotlessly clean. Do yourself a favor, look no further and stay there.<br />"

One steps into the room with a double bed right from the front door, with no privacy, the occupants from the other bedroom have to walk through this room to go outside. "baie dankie vir n netjiese voltoegerusde eenheid. Ons het daar oorgebly gedurende ons blommekyk vakansie. Larisa is n dierbare gasvrye ontvangsdame en het tot laat Saterdag gewerk en seker gemaak ons het alles wat ons benodig. Veilige parkering van die straat af en n ontspanningslokaal met n kroeg maak verblyf baie aangenaam. Goeie herinnering van ons blommekyk ervaring. Jannie en Mariaan Vosloo"
