The Guesthouse
This is a charming guest house with self-catering log cabins, situated in Vanderbijlpark. It is close to various shops, restaurants and entertainment facilities.
We offer seven individual guest rooms; equipped with TVs, air-conditioning, private bathroom and kitchenettes. Fresh towels are provided on a daily basis and the rooms are fully serviced.
There are braai facilities and a lovely swimming pool for those hot summer days. Safe parking is provided on the premises, behind an electric gate. The Vaal River is only a short drive away, offering lots of water sports and fishing. Only 1km away from the Emerald casino, VUT and NWU.
We have a cash bar on site. Bar area also has a pool table and darts. Menus in room and delivery right to your door.

09 December 2019"We had no electricity for the whole duration of our stay. It was not a case of load shedding the owner Belinda Kriel does not pay electricity. We stayed in the dark with no communication with our families since our cell phones were off. I don't advise others to go there."

28 October 2014"Not a bad place. Nobody welcomed us. We didn't even see the owner/s during our stay. Just want to say thanks to Maria the cleaning lady she was very friendly and helpful she made our stay enjoyable our rooms were very clean. Thank you Maria. It's a beautiful place though. Please buy a new braai stand. But we had a Great weekend. We even went to the Emerald Casino."

29 September 2014"The place is really not well maintained, one walk around the swimming pool easily confirms that. I only pressed against the wooden railing on the little stoep of the house, and almost fell over as the rail collapsed. The front gate opens with a "pin pad" mounted on the wall, which is not safe at all considering we had to get out of the vehicle at night to enter the pin for the gate to open. I would not recommend this facility."
