Thabana Safari Lodge

Thabana Safari Lodge is built on a hill overlooking the beautiful Marico Valley. It is a secluded and privately owned luxury lodge on 25 000 acres of prime malaria-free bushveld. Visitors to Thabana Safari Lodge have the opportunity to view one of the largest varieties of game to be found on privately owned land.

We offer eight comfortable and individually appointed thatched Chalets that have been carefully situated to ensure undisturbed privacy and magnificent bush views. Other facilities include an open-air thatched roof deck, a traditional African-style lapa and a sparkling swimming pool.

The Marico Valley is located in the Northwest Province of South Africa, less than a three-hour drive from OR Tambo International Airport. With the Enselsberg Mountains in the south, the Dwarsberg Mountains in the north and the Marico River in the east, nature has created an area with breathtaking views and a habitat suitable for most of Africas animal and bird species.

The scenic view of the Dwarsberg Mountains and the valley below offers great photographic opportunities and affords nature lovers the chance to explore the African bush on foot or in open game viewing vehicles accompanied by professional guides.
