  • "In tune with nature"

    12 November 2018

"Addo Dung Beetle must once have been a gem capturing the heart of nature with their accommodations, situated very close to Addo Elephant Park. It is sad to see that upkeep is not kept up to standard. With a broken down jacuzzi, creaky walkways, and disabled water features, the lodge does not hold up as advertised."

"We had our own private space in a bush cabin. It reminded us on early tent vacations but now with cozy warm comfortable beds! Staying in the fresh air, sitting on the balcony, having a fire, looking over the bright landscape; just great. One of the best showers during our vacation!<br />"

  • "Comfortable stay in the bush"

    20 December 2013

"We had a lovely stay in one of the bush cabins where the bathroom and toilet are literally outside with views of the mountains. The kitchen was well equipped and there was wood for a braai or campfire. The game drive was special and the ranger had interesting facts and stories to share."

  • "Outstanding view"

    10 December 2012

"We slept in one of the bush cabins. Clean, cute, well-thought-through equipment, amazing location. However, not being used to the bush, it took all our bravery to use the shower and the toilet at night time. Nice, friendly, open-minded, and flexible hosts. Only 8 km to the park, but mostly rough roads."

  • "An amazing place"

  • "Excellent"

    10 August 2011

"Excellent accommodation. We loved the bathroom with large bath and indoor as well as outdoor shower. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. What really made our stay special was our hosts, Magna and Rod. They went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Heating was turned on in the rooms before sunset so that we wouldn't get back to a cold room. They would phone ahead before we visited any of the nearby attractions or tours. The roads were very muddy due to heavy rain the previous week. Our cars were sprayed off when we left. I can mention many other thoughtful examples. We were truly made to feel welcome, cared for and pampered!"
