I just missed the mirror above the wash basin and rooibos tea in my room. The staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast and dinner was well prepared. The sudden absence of the receptionist to handle my check-out was handled with care and much apology. When the redecoration of the hotel is complete, it will be worth a visit just to view the décor."

The foyer and lounge areas have a fun, eclectic style and warm fires in winter. The bar has a wide selection of good drinks, including vintage champagnes. In the mornings they do great cooked breakfasts too. If you're in the area, you have to spend a night or two here."
