  "Perfectly manicured garden in quant surroundings with well kept rooms and a beautiful swimming area run by a friendly couple and cool dog and cat.Ashton itself is not necessarily scenic but it is in close proximity to Robertson, Bonnievale, Montagu and Swellendam and McGregor and the Haven can accommodate many people comfortably.Once you're inside the premises away from the dug up high street and rather bizarre bridge in the heart of town, this is a lovely place to spend a relaxing weekend with family and friends or as a group keen to take in the surrounding areas."

  "We went at the end of December and it was our first time there. We were warmly welcomed. Our duplex was neat and comfortable. The pool area was my most enjoyed space, with all the trees and beautiful surroundings. We fully enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back."

  "We had a great stay at the Haven. The rooms are great, the gardens well cared for and there is a swimming pool to cool off in.<div><br /></div><div>We didn't use the Lapa area, but if a group of you were to stay there you might want to use it. Otherwise there is ample place on the lawns to socialise.</div><div><br /></div><div>I would recommend to couples, or a few friends wanting to get away together for 2-4 days.</div><div><br /></div><div>Close to all the wine farms - Roberston, Bonnivale and Montegue. We will return.</div>"

  "You know what is terrible? The fact that this gem has stayed a secret this long. Sure, Ashton is a small town and you could blink and miss it while driving through, but that would be a mistake. Ashton is close to Robertson and Montagu and has a wonderfully quirky appeal (yes Platform 62 I'm looking at you). The Haven itself is amazing. The unit we stayed in was lovely with everything you need for a lovely self-catering getaway. The real magic happens outside the unit when you walk on to the splendid lawn. The vibe is quiet and relaxed even with a few kids running around playing games on the lawn. Families, couples, friends, groups of business men and even you, yes you will feel at home here. Book now before the Haven becomes too popular!"
