  "I had the lamb chops efficient were served why pumpkin fritters and a bean 'stew'. Everything was swimming in oil.I had a bath - I asked permission first given the drought - and the shower spewed up foul smelling water when I drained the bath. The outside patio was flooded. I didnt realise this until I stepped in it when I went to report the shower.My bed was very comfy but the Aircon/heater clanged and woke me up during the night.Between the Aircon noise, the foul stench and indigestion it was an awful night."

  "We initially booked into a B&B in Colesberg but as we were nearing our destination for the day were decided to rather push on to Beaufort West. After a a phone call to Lucy at Safari and a couple of mails we found this accommodation. Not only were they pet friendly but our Rottweiler, Staffie and Sausage dog were all welcome to stay in our lovely room in the main house with us. The hospitality was amazing. Our suite was extremely comfortable and spotless. Lovely buffet for dinner. Unfortunately we left to early to experience breakfast. We will make this our stop over whenever we travel JHB to CT."

  "This was a beautiful experience. Valarie and the other staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could want. The move to be upgraded when we experienced a problem with our door was handled effortlessly. To sit in the gardens and listen to the birds was a balm to the soul after a long journey. Ann Meager"

  "What a wonderful surprise to find this level of service in the middle of the Karoo. After a 10 hour drive from JHB with a pet bunny in the car, we were really tired from the go-stop-go routine. My student daughter and I really appreciated the lovely room, comfortable bed and super friendly and efficient staff. Thanks so much to everyone."

  "Had a very enjoyable stay in peaceful surroundings with secure parking. "Includes B&B" -as per their advert- usually means that the breakfast is included, which wasn't the case - so I was a bit taken aback when I had to pay for it, so this was misleading."

  "Matoppo Inn was our stopover journeying from Bloemfontein to Cape Town. The room provided was clean and the bed very comfortable. We had a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning before continuing our journey. The reception and service was friendly and efficient. Very happy with staying here again."
