"1) A very noisy water-pump, starting up frequently, just outside the bedroom of the Whale Studio we stayed in was annoying and woke a person up all the time. 2) No Management/Owners visibility. Once I paid what I owned at arrival, I never saw him again, or anybody else associated with the management of the place. 3) No secured inside parking. I was led to believe that street parking is save (not possible in RSA anywhere anymore), and that the area is patrolled 24/7. I never saw any people reresenting neignbourhood patrolling/watch during our stay. 4) NO lighting at the braai area. Just a 500 watt security light, blinding, and coming on when detecting movement. So, LOL, make sure you move when you braai. 5) Poorly equipped. 2 of us had to make do with 1 short whiskey glass (no highballs or tumblers), and 4 pink and purple cheap, plastic wine glasses. Lack of a bedside table one side is annoying. 6) General poor quality and upkeep of taps, lights, switches, etc. In fact, one bedside light did not work. 7) The coffee/tea station was not refreshed during the 3 days we stayed. So, after the first morning, .... 8) Not serviced at all ! I am not sure what would have happened if we stayed longer. No cleaning at all. No cleaning staff visible. I had to put the trash out myself. Still, priced affordable, I suppose a person only get what you pay for. *************************************************** We offer self-catering accommodation. Sorry you could not find me, I am readily available if you needed anything - just a phone call away. We offer privacy and quiet to our quests, a balance between bothering you and being of assistance. As clearly advertised, we offer safe off street parking with a night time patroller. Thank you, I have found the problem with the pump (used due to the water restrictions) and have repaired it. I wish you had let me know, I could have solved that problem instantly. The studio is fully equipped for 2 guests, all the glasses could be found in the cupboard for your use. We offer complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and rusks for your arrival. Then the studio is self-catering. The studios are only serviced weekly with a change of towels and linen, as advertised. ""

"we enjoyed our stay at Blouberg studios, the reason for that is because when we got there we were greeted by the friendly smiling face of Rob, which made it a great start to our stay. The place was peaceful, serene and easily found. from the moment we got into the place it felt like we were at home and that we did not want to leave at all. the studio was fitted with beautiful touches that made us enjoy our stay even more. "The starfish studio was very neat and cosy. It had all the facilities stated on the website and there were even a few coffee sachets and rusks which we used for our morning coffee. The hospitality was great, Rob was very welcoming and informative. We had a lovely view of the beach from the balcony. The area was nice and quiet and is situated within walking distance to the beach and eating establishments.Thanks again for a wonderful stay at Blouberg Studios, we are sure to visit once again.Chane'"

The studios are situated in a beautiful area.. the beach is close by.. where one could watch intriguing kite surfing... Also located a good distance from the City and the airport... Loved it!!
