  "What a lovely experience. The units are established in a wonderful, quiet and safe neighbourhood. Somewhat hidden away but glad to have found it. The owners of De Oude Rus, Judy & Jimmy were very welcoming and warm. Loved the interior, everything is exceptionally neat and clean. Complimentary coffee, sugar and milk was a delightful touch to a self-catering unit. Will definitely recommend and go back again! :)"

  "We enjoyed our stay at de oude rus units are tastefully furnished and clean braai area is cramped dustbin linings and cottage service could be improved on. Dishcloths and wash cloths could be provided and a sieve in the kitchen. Cupboard space for groceries is limited."

  "I am writing the review little late. It was long due but I was caught up in work. I visited Capetown in May 2012. Judy and Jim were the prefect hosts and they took care of everything one would need for a good stay. The place was superb, serene and more importantly very very clean. It is close to lot of places I wanted to visit. I do not think De Oude Rus had any flaw that I can point out. My stay was simply superb. I would surely select them when I am in SA the next time."
