We are welcoming you to Cape Town and the Southern Suburbs, this is the place to stay. Either visiting friends or family, having business or planing a hospital or clinic visit we are looking forward to seeing you soon.
Continental and cooked breakfast is on request at an extra cost of R75 per meal/person.
Clarence House is centrally located in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town in Claremont/Newlands and within walking distance to Cavendish Square Shopping Centre and the CBD of Claremont.
We offer 5 guest rooms in 3 different room categories to suit your needs. All of the bedrooms are en-suite.
Most of the rooms have queen size bed and in two rooms there is an option of separated beds as well. Our budget Standard room may only be used as single room with a 3-quarter bed. Some of the rooms have beautiful Mountain views, others have garden and pool views.
There is a 15-minutes' drive to the city centre and the V & A Waterfront and only a 20 minutes' ride to to Cape Town International Airport.
Do you have an appointment with one of the hospitals or clinics in the Southern Suburbs (Claremont/ Kingsbury Hospital, Constantia Berg Clinic, Fertility Clinic, dentist)? We are conveniently located to major clinics and even in walking distance to some of them. Please enquiry!

15 February 2007"It was like staying in your own home as you had free use of the garden and pool and if you wanted to bring in your own evening meal, you could use their facilities which was very useful if you had been out all day and just wanted a quiet evening. Freddie, Armin and Thami looked after us very well and were able to provide lots of local information and even their own taxi service. A great place to stay, particularly if you are a cricket fan going to a match at Newlands! It's within walking distance. Thoroughly recommended."
