Our hostel has a very relaxed atmosphere; you could be in your own lounge at home and feel just as comfortable.

Services offered.Dinners are being provided on request for R95.00 per person, free wireless internet, a collection of books and travelling magazines, daily shuttle to the shops, lots more to make your stay more enjoyable and a huge pool table.

We provide all the facilities required by a backpacker with one difference, we know that when you are done with your tour you want to relax in a nice clean bed, have a long hot shower and just chill, and think about all the experiences you have had.

Buzz bus stop: When you arrive and plan your tour you want the best possible advice on what, where, when, and how. We speak, Norwegian English and German.

"We stayed one night at Mufasa Backpackers. we arrived from OR Tambo airport with our rented car.It was very easy to find it due the easy directions that the owners gave us. The hostel was very clean and beautiful. The owners were extremely nice and made us feel like home. We loved this place and definitely will come back in our next trip to South Africa."

"The lodge is nearby Johannesburg airport (~20 min) so after a long flight and before the sunset we arrived the lodge fast and safely.The lodge is nice and clean and we stayed there 1 night before starting our trip towards the Kruger. The owners welcomed us nicely and shared with us their recommendation about traveling in the Park and around. One should know the bathroom are shared and not within a room. However, the low price makes it very understandable."

"We were glad to know this little friendly place in the BIG Johannesburg and felt that we were welcome in " the family" although we were a family of five people coming to stay only for one night. It showed up that our flight the next day was sold out so it was necessary for us to stay another night and even this was made possible in spite of that Mufasas were expecting a group of other travellers to come for that night.
