  • "Worst stay ever"

    30 December 2013

"The bathroom facilities are dirty. The rooms were mosquito infected and then finally in the morning the flies took over. Generally dirty. Supper was not bad but breakfast was terrible. The bacon was off. Will not recommend to anybody!"

  • "Choosing backpacking accomodation for the 1st time"

    16 December 2013

"It was our first experience of backpackers accommodation. We prepared ourselves for the worst but had all we needed at Sugarloaf. We stayed 5 nights and as a family we rather needed an on suite as it was a bit of a bother to walk to the toilets in the middle of the night in the rain. It is kept clean, most of the staff were friendly and helpful and the meals catered were really nice and tasty. Overall it was different but enjoyable."

  • "Good atmosphere"

    30 August 2013

"There is a good atmosphere in this lodge. it is kind of basic but we enjoyed it very much. The surfing tour was a bit overpriced and the gear was not good. But because of the two nice owners we had a good time there."
