  "Hazeldene is a good option for a stopover, its spotlessly clean and comfortable. Rooms are airconditioned with cold bar fridges and you can eat at the restaurant (when open). It's a little squeezed to fit 5 guests into some of the flats with only one bathroom but they gladly let us have 2 rooms on request. Some rooms are on top of ine another and separated by thin walls. Even so it is a quiet stay in town and pleasantly off the highway."

  "The room was very clean, the linen fresh and we were made to feel very welcome. An added bonus was the Bordeaux restaurant right next door were we could get a home cooked meal after a day in the car.<br/>"

  "Was booked at Hazeldene rooms- upon arrival I was told we are staying at Sawedee. How and why I was not notified beforehand I do not know- seeing that my confirmation email stated I was staying in Hazeldene rooms. Accept for the bugger up, the rooms where clean and tidy and staff was friendly."

  "We stayed at Hazeldene for 1 night only (stop-over on our way to Cape Town). We were in the family room with our 3 children. Although the room was quite small, it was perfect for the 1 night. Very clean and very comfy beds. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family."

  "We were met at the gate by a very friendly owner who opened up our room, showed all the basics and made sure we were happy after a long day on the road. The rooms are all we needed and the restaurant under the grapevines was an awesome spot to settle the dust of the Karoo and filled our tummies on Karoo lamb chops. Will be back on my next trip to Capetown. Well done and thankyou for a good nights rest in the clean rooms."

  "We stopped over here on our way back from Cape Town on 31 Dec. Very nice and clean room with aircon and decent shower. We also ate at their restaurant and the food was great. Would definitely stay there again if we drive through to Cape Town again."

  "We enjoyed our one night stay at Hazeldene Rooms on our way to the Cape. The staff were so friendly and really made us feel welcome. Ideal if you have kids. My daughters enjoyed the play area while we could sit and relax drinking a cold beer."
