In the beauty of an undiscovered bush valley you can find the 5 Star equivalents Abloom Bush Lodge & Spa Retreat. Just outside of the world famous but small historical town of Cullinan, 30 minutes east of Pretoria, Carmen and Lowie run their unique and exclusive boutique hotel.
Abloom specializes in all inclusive packages where lodging and unlimited spa to the amount of hours allocated to a specific package are included in the price. These packages have a catered and a self-catering option.

Carmen runs the award-winning, exclusive wellness centre, where truly unique treatments and romantic packages are on the menu. All treatments are done in-suite on your private deck with stunning views of the bush, an experience you will not want to miss.
Abloom offers only four luxurious suites in the form of romantic stand-alone thatched chalets. All suites are eco-friendly and magnificently designed, built and decorated by Lowie and you will be short of eyes to absorb all the creative, stylish and elegant details he has given the lodge. A sense of peace and tranquillity greets you on arrival as the dedicated owners, their four dogs and eight horses welcome you with their gracious hospitality to a luxurious but relaxed and informal farm.
Abloom does not have a restaurant but does offer exquisite meals for the connoisseurs. Dining at Abloom is a spectacular experience.

07 October 2014"My partner and I had such a wonderful and relaxing stay at Abloom! It was so nice and quiet - we felt we were miles away from the city, even if Pretoria is only a half hour away. The lodge was beautiful and comfortable, and we absolutely loved our private heated pool! Our massages and other treatments were fantastic, Pumelele and Precious took such great care of us. We did self-catering, which was great as the kitchen was well equipped for us to make our meals. We would love to taste the food next time though - got a little taster from our breakfast - which was delicious. The only thing to be aware of is that there is NO reception at all, not even to make a phone call - since we were at Abloom for my birthday it meant we had to go into Cullinan town (not a very exciting place) so that I could speak to my family. Anyway - that is the only drawback (and not a big one), everything else was superb."

12 August 2013"My husband and I spent a long weekend at Abloom Bush Lodge and Spa. We had the most awesome and relaxed weekend. The suite was breath taking. The open fire place was most welcomed during the cold weekend and we spent most of the time in front of it. The hot plunge pool was wonderful and we used it every day even though it was cold outside. The Spa treatments were the best we ever had. The therapists are very well trained and the massages are out of this world. Louis' food was superb and we had one of our best dinners ever prepared with lots of love and presented on the plate like a piece of art. Both Carmen and Louis were fantastic hosts. We strongly recommend Abloom Bush Lodge and Spa to everybody who wants to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and is seeking high standard pampering in a tranquil and romantic environment. We will definitely go back."
