"Wow, it was like we had travelled hours to get away from the city. No lights in sight from this farmhouse when all house lights were turned off. Only the stars and animal noises to keep you company as you enjoyed the fire on the big stoep. It was peaceful and relaxing. Lovely to sit and watch out over the hills while sipping your coffee on the cool rainy mornings. We had all we needed in the farm house. Alex and Kay and Poppie were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend it."

"A relaxing country side atmosphere good for breakaway from hectic city life. At least 1 TV for all the houses and a breakfast facility will make a great improvement."

"We loved it ! The place is clean and well kept. The rooms very comfortable and well equipped. <br />Hot water was plenty but the bad thing was that the bathroom door couldn't shut close and the chilling wind made it a cold shower.<br />The lodge's right hand man Prince is a Keeper ! Very polite and helpfull and Loved the Afrikaans !!<br />We will recommend this place and even book a stay again<br />"

"Place neat and clean but very basic. Price quoted was way higher than on the site and at 600 pppn was overpriced. Also did not see the friendly staff or any animals. Lots of birds though. Close to Pretoria."
