Umnenge Lodge & Charters

Umnenge Lodge is a child friendly African guest house on the cliffs of De Kelders near Gansbaai. Umnenge is a member of Guest House Accommodation of South Africa. It features a lounge, a bar and two rooms which are capable of accommodating adults and children when required. All rooms have sea views, balconies and en-suite bathrooms with both baths and showers. The rooms and bathrooms also have underfloor heating and DStv.

You can expect to see whales frolicking in season as well as other wildlife as we are only 100 m from the Walker Bay Nature Reserve. Locally available is a variety of outings and places of interest such as the whales, great white sharks and boat-based fishing, cave exploring, hiking trails through the nature reserve and many more.

"What a find! The lodge is beautiful and had everything I could possibly need. My bedroom and en-suite bathroom was spacious with the most glorious views. The balcony is the perfect spot to watch the sun go down. Both the breakfasts and the dinner we shared were a real treat. Thank you to Ric, Mary and the boys for making me feel so comfortable and very welcome. This is a very special spot and I would recommend Umnengi Lodge to anyone looking for a place to rest their soul."
