  • "Pragtige plek"

    18 July 2017

"Ons het heerlik gekuier in die pragtige plek. Lekker warm geslaap en gestort en die eenheid is goed toegerus. Ons het net n paar keer in hondemis getrap wat bietjie ongerieflik was om skoon te kry en ontslae te raak van die reuk."

  • "The beautiful view"

    30 March 2017

"We had a friendly welcome from Barry and made to feel at home. We had a problem making the hob to work and rather than disturbing him we gace up, probably our stupidity. We were absolutely comfortable in a superb room. We could not ask for more."

    03 June 2013

"We spent two nights at the stone house in Meijers Rust and we came away feeling as if we had spent as many days in a little piece of heaven. It truly is a very special place."

  • "Holmes at Meijers Rest"

    23 May 2013

"The cottages are excellent close to the main house - the Stone cottage is a few km's away on a dust track and is very charismatic - totally away from the world in good accommodation - could be cold in winter - the traditional accommodation is top class."

  • "A little gem"

    06 April 2013

"Lovely spot right at the beginning of Meiringspoort pass. Chalets are new, clean and very well appointed. Great for an en route stop, or as base to explore the area."

  • "Stone House"

    14 January 2013

"What a fabulously special place to stay. Completely secluded, well appointed and quirky in a way. My dog had more space than she could ever imagine and could run and swim in the farm dams while curiously eyeing the cattle and eland that came to greet us at the cottage. Long walks and beautiful night skies made our short stay even more perfect. Sadly it was just an overnight stay - next time it will be for longer! Truly beautiful and relaxing."

  • "Superb"

    17 December 2012

"Superb accommodation. Fantastic, peaceful location. Best sleep of all B&B's on route. Suggestion: Add Spray for flies/ insects as it is on a farm with cattle. Perhaps a roller blind on entrance door?"
