  "We really enjoyed the stay. Venue is stunning and very close to the centre of Franscchoek. The only improvement I can mention is that early on Sunday morning (+/- 8h00) they had a dance class next door in the gallery space! Only drywall between so we could hear everything. Will be bad for people loving sleeping late on a Sunday morning. Overall: we enjoyed the stay and will certainly be back. Thank you."

  "We arrived at Artemis late on a Sunday evening after spending the weekend at a festival. We where warmly welcomed by Kobus who showed us around this tranquil place. We made good use of the Dam by having a late evening swim underneath a starry lit sky and again in the cool of the morning. This was the highlight of my stay. The place is better than the pictures and the beds are super comfortable with the most freshest linens. I cant wait to go back."

  "Lovely, relaxing, clean and wholesome rooms with wonderful touches like homemade rusks and great coffee. The views are spectacular, short walk to town and even in walking distance of a couple of wine farms. Only wished we could have stayed longer!"

  "We wanted to do a quick stop over in Franschhoek before departing to Wellington to attend a wedding over the long weekend. Unfortunately the plane was delayed and we eventually only arrived at about 11:30 pm at Artemis Barn. But Kobus didn't mind waiting for us and really made us feel welcome. We slept like babies and awoke to the most beautiful scenery of the valley below. We enjoyed our morning rusks and coffee and were grateful for the handmade olives he shared with us! Thanks for a memorable stay."

  "We had a great stay at Artemis Barn Cottages. We were a party of 3 and rented both cottages for 2 nights. We would have happily stayed another 5! The tranquility of the location, combined with the proximity to the Main Road shops/restaurants, plus the creative finishes and art that Kobus and Andrea's property exudes combine to create a near-perfect combination. The additional bonuses that we had not counted on included, swimming with the gold fish in the dam; the nature walk with arty distractions; walking the labyrinth by moonlight; being encouraged to stay all day on our final day (no urgency to check out!); the coffee, olives, rusks; and the shear hospitality of the hosts which is welcoming without ever being overbearing. We highly recommend Artemis Barn Cottages!"

  "We had a very restful, private and wonderful stay at Artemis Barn Cottages. The cottage is very cozy and everything is supplied. It is tastefully decorated and has beautiful sceneries painted on all the bedroom walls. The cottage has a very special feeling to it and the land it is on is absolutely magical. We received a very warm welcome from the host and were treated like special guests. We will definitely be visiting again."

  "Kobus and the staff at Artemis Barn cottages are extremely friendly and hospitable. They really made us feel at home and welcome. We were spoilt with the most delicious home baked olive bread and loads more, the little extra's that made us feel really special! Being a pet friendly establishment also makes it the perfect place for us and we look forward to staying with them in the future. Lovely, clean, back to nature, beautifully decorated accommodation."
