Goodwood, named after the renowned British horseracing track, holds a fascinating history. Though a racetrack was built here, it was sadly abandoned after just one meeting. Today, Goodwood is renowned for being home to the prestigious Grand West Casino and a world-class ice-skating rink. Its proximity to the Century City complex, boasting the impressive Canal Walk Shopping Centre and Ratanga Junction theme park, only adds to its allure.

Annatjie expertly manages the day-to-day affairs of the guesthouse, while Charles attends to the administrative side. During the December and January school holidays, we even offer self-catering options, providing an opportunity for holidaymakers to enjoy the complete house and amenities.

Our journey began in September 1980 when Charles, still in the employ of South Africa's largest Life Assurance Company, meticulously managed all administrative aspects of their Management Training Development operation. This role involved coordinating training courses, including travel arrangements, meal preparations, and accommodation logistics for delegates. The wealth of knowledge and expertise gained from this invaluable experience now forms the foundation of the exceptional service we provide at Lady Annie's Guesthouse each and every day.
