02 May 2018"Since the moment we drove onto the premises we loved every minute of our stay! The location is breathtaking and the forest and gardens were a joy to explore. The interior of the lodge is beautiful - you already feel spoiled when you walk through the doors. We were welcomed so warmly and thanks to the manager felt so at home. It was great to be able to use all the facilities, especially the boat house. Having coffee in front of the fireplace with autumn views over the lake were heavenly."

Other highlights include a boathouse and a walk through the adjacent indigenous forest. The staff were very accommodating and efficient and were great, despite our party arriving early."

The rooms are large and face a beautiful natural forest while there is a large lake across the breakfast room that also makes for a peaceful view in the mornings. We enjoyed our wine in the lake house where there is a well-equipped venue to relax and enjoy the location.</p><p>We will definitely return should the opportunity arise.</p>"

Breakfast was fantastic, everything was freshly made and even if breakfast is only till 10 in the morning, the people there waited for us to wake up after a late night as we were there for a wedding.
