Anna's Farm Stay

Anna's Farm guesthouse is close to the N2 between Swellendam and Heidelberg on the Malgas Road, and is the place to be. Come and enjoy a peaceful time on our grain, sheep and dairy farm.

The old majestic farmhouse was built in 1937 and offers two charming bedrooms with antiques, fresh flowers, tea trays and sherry, on the house. A two-sleeper interleading room is also available on request, for families or groups up to six people. Anna's Farm Stay is a peaceful haven to return to after visiting places of interest in the vicinity and is perfect stay for a family or a group.

Enjoy traditional home-cooked meals in the family dining room in the company of your hosts. To sip a glass of good South-African wine at the fireplace or on the big veranda while watching the sweeping views of farmlands, birds, animals and the Langeberg Mountains, is farm life at its best.

Arno is called the "braai meester" and socializer and Anna is the baker, coffee maker and the money taker. Feeding the farm animals, drinking fresh milk from "Mamma" cow in the milking parlor, and Arno's knowledge of the area, make the personalized farm tour an unforgettable experience.

In the immediate surroundings, Blue Crain and ostrich lovers will have an excellent opportunity to take nature photographs of these lovely bird species. You will also get the change to watch the local birds in their own habitat. Heidelberg is also becoming as famous as Oudtshoorn for ostrich breeding.
