Beach Cove

Beach Cove is a lovely double-storey unit situated in Hibberdene which is a cosy seaside town located 97 km south of Durban and halfway between Scottburgh and Port Shepstone. BOREHOLE hi quality water. 100% Pet friendly.

The unit consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, open-plan living area and a whale watching balcony with beautiful sea views, as well as a patio with braai facilities. There is under-cover parking and pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

Hibberdene lies at the mouth of the magnificent Umzimai River and has five popular beaches, of which four are netted for safe swimming. What makes Hibberdenes beaches so popular is that the warm Indian Ocean flows across its shoreline and thus makes diving and snorkelling a delight. The Hibberdene Lagoon is well worth a visit, whether to simply relax in the warm sun or enjoy a few fun activities. There is plenty to experience here, including the wildlife and diversity of birds along the banks of the river.

  • "Good but lacking"

    02 March 2014

"Lovely place however the kitchen utensils is insufficient, there is no washing machine you either have to go to town to the Laundromat or pay the general cleaner R100 for a bundle of washing(includes washing drying and ironing or you have to wash with the hand. however the Beach Cove is quite child friendly. The top of the stairs has a slam lock, where the kitchen en living room is which is wonderful if you have a toddler!"
