Isinkwe Bush Camp

Isinkwe Bush Camp is nestled within 22 hectares of lush, indigenous coastal bush, 15 Km from Hluhluwe-KwaZulu Natal. As you arrive at the rustic nature camp, you are greeted by friendly, shady trees, forming a tranquil hide-away, as well as an excellent base from where to explore the many famous wildlife destinations in the area, including Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Reserve and the Greater St. Lucia Wetlands Park. Accommodation options include a Self-Catering Tree Cabin, en suite double rooms, standard twin rooms and camping. The clients staying in the room only options are welcome to make use of a communal outdoor kitchen and boma area to prepare your own meals. Note: The point shown on the map is the entrance to Isinkwe Backpackers Bush camp and there is a entrance-way with signs. From there a further 1 km needs to be driven on gravel road to our entrance gate to the camp. Please note we have NO TV and NO WIFI in the camp.

    "The wooden huts are nicely arranged in the middle of the wild forest (you can even find nice little snakes in the bushes!). The common area with the swimming pool, the bar and the pool is very pleasant. A nice place to sleep if you like the wildness."

    "The most beautiful sunrise one can imagine,was showed to me by Jolande.Jolande is one of the wildlife guides who works at the Insinkwe Backpackers Bushcamp near the Hluhluwe reserve.She is one of the staff members of the bushcamp who takes care of you as a guest.The people working for the bushcamp organisation take care of you in a way that you realy feel like a guest,and that is a wonderful feeling.The calm and pleasent atmosphere makes you feel as if in paradise for a moment,and that was the feeling I needed for a few days.Dear Bushcampers thank you for those wonderful days."
